About Us

"If our garbage ends up in the ocean, we've all failed. True sustainability doesn't stop at the border."

Hi, we're Ralph and Johanna: for eight years, we've shared not only our lives, but also a deep passion for travel, nature, and protecting our beautiful planet. A few years ago, we moved to Asia, where we spent months traveling through breathtaking landscapes—from the hidden waterfalls of Cambodia to the loneliest beaches of Thailand. But everywhere, even in the most remote places, we found one thing: trash. Plastic bottles, packaging, and waste piling up in rivers, forests, and oceans.

This experience has moved us deeply and made us ask a simple but important question: What can we do?

Our approach: Raising awareness – on a small and large scale

We're not ascetics, but we live consciously. Especially here in Asia, where non-recyclable waste often ends up in illegal dumps or in nature, we make sure to produce as little waste as possible. Our goal is to inspire people to reduce their plastic consumption – even small steps help:

  • Reusable instead of disposable (e.g. drinking bottles, cloth bags)

  • Avoid waste wherever possible

  • Raising awareness about the impact of plastic in the oceans

Our oceans are choking on garbage – around 8 million tons of plastic end up in the oceans every year (source: UNEP). If we don't change anything, there could be more plastic than fish in the sea by 2050.

Global responsibility: Garbage has no country, but an origin

A shocking fact: The EU exports hundreds of thousands of tons of plastic waste to countries in the Global South every year , often under the guise of recycling – but much of it is incinerated or ends up in nature (source: European Environment Agency). At the same time, plastic production fuels global warming – by 2050, the plastics industry could be responsible for 15% of global CO₂ emissions (source: CIEL).

Our vision: A world that can breathe

We believe that everyone can make a difference – through mindful consumption and sharing knowledge. Our mission is to inspire people to treat the Earth with love – our mother, the one who gives us life. For the animals, for the oceans, and for future generations who will still enjoy this world.

Because change starts small – and together we can achieve great things.

Will you also become part of this movement?

All love

Johanna and Ralph
